Teacher Biography: Christos Karagiannis
Christos Karagiannis has devoted his life to the exploration of human potential, healing and spiritual wisdom.
Although he studied Economics, his inner search led him far beyond the world of numbers and towards the ancient paths of transformation.
He travelled extensively around the world and studied with:
- Shaolin Monastery
- Chen Village – Chen-style Tai Chi
- Taoist masters including Mantak Chia and Wong Kiew Kit
He developed an in-depth understanding of:
- Self-healing, internal alchemy and martial arts
- Taoist sexual energy and the philosophy of unity
- The integration of ancient Greek wisdom with Eastern practices, creating a bridge between East and West
He is the founder of the “Kentauros Chiron” School in Volos and has led numerous seminars focusing on:
- Self-improvement
- Energetic balance
- Personal transformation
- The connection between body, mind and spirit
In 2006, he was honoured with the Golden Eagle Award (3rd Dan) by the World Wu Shu Federation.

Christos Karagiannis is particularly distinguished by his deep involvement in acupuncture and the philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
He views acupuncture not simply as a technique, but as a holistic approach to restoring the balance of vital energy (Qi), connecting body, mind and spirit.
Through his study and experience, he approaches the human being as an energetic system in continuous flow, in which imbalances may manifest on both physical and psycho-emotional levels.
As he practises it, acupuncture aims to restore this flow and activate the body’s natural self-healing mechanisms.
His approach is characterised by deep awareness, precision and respect for the wisdom of the body, while incorporating the broader Taoist understanding of harmony and balance.
Through this process, acupuncture becomes not merely a therapeutic practice, but an experience of reconnecting with the body’s natural state of balance and well-being.
