Better Protection Against Oxidation

The Bag-in-Box system is designed to minimize the olive oil’s exposure to oxygen.

Unlike conventional bottles, the olive oil is dispensed from a tap at the bottom, rather than being poured from the top. As the bag gradually collapses, no air needs to enter the package to replace the oil, helping reduce oxidation and preserve the oil’s freshness, aroma and quality for longer after opening.
